Bio

Katie Hagar, 22, hails from Damariscotta, Maine, but moved to Sacramento, Calif., last year to be closer to All-American Speedway in Roseville, Calif.

Hagar began racing go-karts at age 11. In 1999, she earned the Southern Maine Karting Inc. (SMKI) Rookie of the Year title at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, Maine. Hagar continued racing with the SMKI for three more years, placing in the top 10 in Junior and Sprint Cage division points standings.

In 2003, Hagar transitioned into the New England Allison Legacy Series (NEALS). That season, Hagar finished third in the NEALS championship points standings, just 20 points out of first place. Hagar tallied five wins in the 2003 season, and was the first female to win a race at Canaan (N.H.) Fair Speedway.

Hagar attended the Lyn St. James Driver Development program in 2005. That year she also began racing in the New England Pro All Star Series. In 2006, Hagar was the runner-up for Rookie of the Year at Oxford Plains Speedway in Maine. In 2007, Hagar was the only female competitor in the Pro All Star Series in New England.

The 2008 season was Hagar's first with the Drive for Diversity program. She raced for Bill McAnally Racing in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series at All American Speedway in Roseville, Calif. Hagar notched 11 top-10 finishes in 18 starts.

After her solid 2008 season, Hagar was invited to participate in the 2008 Drive for Diversity Testing & Evaluation Combine presented by Sunoco last October at South Boston (Va.) Speedway. Her performance at the Combine landed her a ride in the 2009 Drive for Diversity class with Golden State Racing.

Stay strong and steadfast the victory is not always at the end of a finish line, but by taking a good look back and seeing where you were.
Always proud and anxiously awaiting your arrival so I can have you close. God Bless, stay safe and have fun. Your #1 fan.

DAMN!! That race at 99 was a joke. Why did they continue to count so many laps under yellow? I just dont understand, maybe you know something that I dont...hmm.. oh well. I thought ur partner schmidt was going to win for sure, once again I had money on him =), And he was black flagged under that last yellow at around lap 140. I bet it had to do with politics with them freakin philpotts. they have always had pull with the owners, And I heard the Nocetti's(track owners) do alot of work on the Philpotts chassis. So I think the whole night was fixed.

On another note, It looked like your car just wasn't up to par tonight. I'm sure you'll be out finishing at the top next week at whatever track you go to. Godd luck girly!
Hit me up on myspace, when you get a chance!!
